Aching teeth, constant sneezing. Throat ragged and sore. Coughing. Headache. Underwater ears and a bulbous head perhaps ready to burst and spill forth popcorn. Skin raked over by steel wool. Swollen eyes. A sense of the surreal, with all stimuli seeming strangely nightmarish and exaggerated. A futile cry of rage: “damn you microbes!” Hopefully it’s just allergies.

Sounds awful–that grouping of symptoms reminds me very much of when I got mono and they told me it was a cold at first…
Whatever it is, get some rest!
