I don’t have a kindle, but moving the text around the page might be problematic for reading on the device. And there’s the limited zoom increments on the kindle, so reading this pdf might require a lot of panning. that said, I don’t own a kindle.
Most ereaders (and I assume it’s true of the Kindle as well), will display both the page image and the OCRed text. I’m pretty sure this pdf is OCRed, which means you should be able to zoom and scroll through the text just like you would on any other text-based document. I can test it later on my Sony ereader, and report back.

I have been reading the PDF in landscape mode on my Amazon Fire to much success.
