Over at An Un-Canny Ontology, Nate has an exceedingly interesting series of posts porting Deleuze and Guattari’s machines into object-oriented ontology. Check them out here, here, and here. All of this meshes very nicely with my account of objects as autopoietic and allopoietic machines.

Awesome! I knew somebody at some point was going to wed complex Deleuzian jargon to OOO, but this exceeded my expectations. Much like Harman’s odd revival of Heidegger and Whitehead, we can see Gilles walking among us again in his new OOO skin. This will also give us all a chance to spit completey indecipherable jargon at everyone who opposes us (ok, just kidding).
